Dear Friends of Treetop:
This Thursday is the 49th day since Stef’s departure. In Buddhist tradition, the 49th day marks the completion of transition from the earthly realm. Please join us at Treetop this Thursday morning, November 11, at 9 a.m. as we acknowledge and honor this passage.

Along with cooler temperatures and shorter days, the change of season
also brings the return to our winter schedule. Please note the following schedule changes & upcoming events:
1. Starting with this Saturday’s service (November 13th), services will begin at 9:30AM.
2. The Saturday intensive sit scheduled for this Saturday, November 13th, is cancelled. We will be having a weekend intensive in March 2011. Details to come.
3. Our weeklong winter Rohatsu retreat (Dec. 4–10) is fast approaching. If you are interested in joining us for the week (or any
part of it), please email as soon as possible to indicate what days/ times you’ll be with us. This information is especially important for the tenzos so they can plan meals accordingly.
4. The sangha business meeting will be held as usual, following sit on the third Wednesday of this month (Wednesday, November 17th). We will be discussing details for the upcoming Rohatsu retreat, as well as our schedule for next year.
Wishing you a peaceful autumn.
